Hawaii's Minimum Wage to Rise to $10.10 in 2018

Tip Credit of $0.75 to Be Permitted

Effective January 1, 2018, the minimum wage in Hawaii will rise to $10.10 per hour. However, employers will generally be permitted to take a credit of $0.75 toward the minimum wage ("tip credit") of tipped employees who customarily and regularly receive more than $20 a month in tips.
