New Hampshire Passes Law Regarding Franchisors, Franchisees, and Employees

Amended Law Currently in Effect
Under an amended law in New Hampshire, a franchisor is only an employer if the franchisor agrees in writing to assume the role of employer (or co-employer) of a franchisee or its employee.
For the purposes of the amended law, the terms "franchisee" and "franchisor" have the same meanings as defined under federal law.
